Trnava Region borders the Bratislava area on its western edges. The least populous region in Slovakia, Trnava Region borders the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary. It accounts for the highest share of arable land in the country, demonstrating its importance for Slovak agriculture. The region’s natural features include the Little Carpathians, which separate Záhorie from the Danube Lowland, and the Danube River. There are several spa centres in the region, including the one of the most popular resorts – Piešťany.

CEMBAM – Medical Bioadditive Research and Production Centre
The project CEMBAM – Medical Bioadditive Research and Production Centre focuses on research and development of advanced medical therapies. It aims, through a multidisciplinary consortium composed of research institutions from the state, public and private sectors, to make a contribution in the field of stem cell research, with a focus on research and development of tissues using 3D bioprinting to enable active regeneration of damaged tissue.
Modernisation and improvement of public passenger transport services – ARRIVA Trnava, a.s.
The project Modernisation and improvement of public passenger transport services - ARRIVA Trnava, a.s. aims to improve urban, suburban and long-distance national transport and other additional ARRIVA services, which has its headquarters in Trnava and centres in the district towns of Piešt'any, Senica and Hlohovec.
Reconstruction and modernisation of the road II/499 in the section of the road of the Havran mountain crossing
The aim of the project Reconstruction and modernisation of the II/499 road in the section of the Havran mountain crossing is the reconstruction of a part of the road which starts at the border crossing Vrbovce-Javorník with the Czech Republic and ends in Topoľčany. The road passes through the Trnava and Nitra regions and is 82 202 km long.
Increasing the capacity of the kindergarten St. Elizabeth in Trnava
The project Increasing the capacity of the Church Kindergarten of St. Elizabeth in Trnava is aimed at the reconstruction of the former gymnasium building at 24 Kalinčiakova Street in Trnava, which will create 3 new kindergarten classes with a capacity of 60 places and an area of 1051 m².
Senica Polyethylene Foil Recycling Plant
The aim of the project Senica Polyethylene Film Recycling Plant is to increase the rate of waste recovery with a focus on preparation and reuse, including the promotion of separation and collection of municipal waste in the region.
