Pieria, an area rich in nature, is home to Mount Olympus, the Pierian Mountains and Mount Titaros, forests, rivers and coastal wetlands. Its archaeological and historical sites are an attraction for all visitors, as there are sightseeing opportunities that range from the Neolithic settlement of Makrygialos, Ancient Pydna and Ancient Dion, to the Castle of Platamonas.
