The idea of organising a Youth Democracy Festival stemmed from a workshop with young people on strengthening dialogue between young people and politicians in the municipality of Rudersdal. The municipality applied for EU funding to organise and host four events, including the festival itself. The festival was brought into being with support from Erasmus+ and other schemes. Afterwards, a discussion meeting was organised to put initiatives into practice and share information and tips with other municipalities on the benefits of establishing dialogues with young people in the local area. 

Some 42 students from Helsingør attended a camp for young people in Germany. The focus here was on creativity and intercultural exchange.  

The FUEL project in Frederikssund has encouraged municipalities, businesses, schools and colleges to cooperate more closely, with a focus on getting more people to opt for vocational training. Its aim is to provide more apprenticeships and to tailor training courses to better suit the needs of the labour market.

Med udgangspunkt i Norfors anlægget i Kokkedal udvikler projektet et feasibility studie på muligheden for at lagre overskydende elektricitet fra vindenergi i højtemperatur varmelagre og samtidig øge effektiviteten af dampturbinerne.

I projektet 'Kultur-raketten' - med tilskud fra Erasmus+ - samler Allerød Ungdomsskole 44 danske og tyrkiske unge mellem 13 og 15 år i en ungdomsudveksling i Istanbul, Tyrkiet. Målet er, at de unge sammen på tværs af kulturer drøfter ligestilling, demokrati og europæiske værdier gennem mange forskellige aktiviteter som fx rollespil, leg, teambuilding og aktiviteter i Istanbul.

EU-midlerne anvendes til alle forarbejder og godkendelser forud for etablering af et pilotanlæg baseret på flow-batterier til at lagre overskydende vindenergi.
