Munich – Bavaria’s capital – affords skilled-employment opportunities, a rich cultural life and, given its proximity to lakes and mountains, attractive recreational amenities. Energy overhaul of the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection in Munich
The EU contributed almost EUR 2.5 million from the European Regional Development Fund for works to update the energy supply system at the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection in Munich.
Remote cooling supply in the Munich city-centre
The European Social Fund has provided EUR 1.64 million in funding towards works to expand Munich city centre’s district cooling system.
Improving the energy consumption in Munich's district Harthof
Between 2023 and 2028, various measures from the EU's ASCEND project will be tested and implemented to improve the energy mix in the district of Harthof in the north of Munich. Measure ‚Impuls!‘ of the job centre Munich
The European Social Fund provided at least EUR 130 000 of Munich Job Centre’s [EUR 261 000]‘Impulse! project (https://jobcenter-muenchen.de/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/PDF-Datei-AMIP_2022.pdf)’ project for families and single parents with children under 18.
Women academy Munich MOVE!
Via the European Social Fund, the EU provided almost EUR 640 000 of the total cost of the EUR 1.2 million ‘MOVE!’, Munich Women's Academy’s service centre – a career counselling project run by women for women – from 2015 to 2021.
Medizintechnikunternehmen cureVision GmbH, Munich
The Munich-based medical technology company cureVision GmbH is receiving EUR 75 000 from the WomenTechEU programme, the EU’s programme supporting start-ups (co-)founded by women. The EU is funding the company’s AI-supported solution to improve treatment for chronic wounds.
