Ludwigsburg lies northwest of Stuttgart in the varied landscape of the Neckar river basin. It is a densely populated district with extensive industrial and commercial development. The local job market is healthy, thanks to the presence of many medium-sized companies as well as internationally famous names such as Bosch, Porsche and Mercedes-AMG.
