Paphos is the westernmost city in Cyprus and the fourth largest in terms of population. It was the capital of the island during the Hellenistic and Roman periods and two of its archaeological sites are listed as UNESCO world cultural heritage sites. Its unique natural surroundings, combined with its rich history, make the city particularly attractive to tourists. Paphos was also designated European Capital of Culture in 2017.

Joint Actions for the Creation of "Green" - Environmentally Friendly Routes in Tourist Areas
Joint action for the development of green/environmentally friendly tours in tourist areas (ECORouTs project). The aim of the ECORouTs project was to reduce CO2 emissions and other harmful gases and support actions that help reduce environmental risks posed by urban transport.
Building Facilities of the School of Tourism Management, Hospitality and Entrepreneurship of the Technical University of Cyprus
Construction of buildings housing the Cyprus University of Technology’s Faculty of Tourism Management, Hospitality and Entrepreneurship. Project aims included upgrading the tourism discipline, boosting the city’s student and academic community and fostering the broader growth and revival of the local area.
Multipurpose Social Care Centre
Construction of the ‘Zeta Emilianidou’ Multipurpose Social Welfare Centre, which houses various social care units and runs social welfare programmes. The mission of the centre is to provide local social welfare services, in particular to young families and working parents.
Sustainable Development Plan of Akamas National Forest Park
Sustainable Development of Akamas National Forest Park. The project includes improvements to the National Forest Park's main road network and construction of infrastructure management nodes to allow the effective and sustainable management and protection of forest areas, reduce the risk of forest fires, create more jobs and help local communities to grow.
